Frugal all natural hand sanitizer

Sooooooooooooooo are you tired of dry hands, the wafting smell of alcohol, and the expense of buying hand sanitizer???? I know for our family it seems like, when we need it, we are either out or we forgot to bring it with us.
Well, we have changed over our hand sanitizer to something new, all natural and cheap! Plus, we don't have to forget to buy it or wonder if we have any on hand as the purchase of two small bottles and some water is all we need. I purchased several small spray bottles, varying in different sizes for different purposes. I carry a smaller one in my purse and a medium size one in the diaper bag. I also use them now in cleaning some parts of our home.
Ready for the secret?????? Well, it's nothing too miraculous, but it works great. It's a combination of Lavender oil and Tea tree oil diluted in spring or distilled water. For small to medium bottles I put one drop of each and shake it up. For large I put two drops of each and shake. The lavender and tea tree oil are a natural germ fighter, an acti-bacterial,anti-microbial, anti-fungal cleanser. It's amazing how well it works! We've been using it whenever we've been out and with all the sickness going around here, we should have picked something up in the past two months. I give it a good shake and spray once on our hands and we rub them together. We also use it in diaper changing. No more dry hands! AND...... it costs about $ 25 a year including water! Great deal!
Also, lavender and tea tree oil, support the immune system not break it down like alcohol and the other chemicals in the hand sanitizers. You are virtually doing more harm than good in using them as they kill not only the bad bacteria but also the good, stripping the immune system of its defence mechanisms. If you feel better sticking with the hand sanitizers, save your money, because they are only doing you good mentally. You will most likely eventually get whatever illness going around due to the fact that your constantly breaking down your immune system with the chemical hand sanitizer.
We also buy tea tree oil soap to wash our hands with at the bathroom and kitchen sinks, and I just washed my floors for the first time with a tea tree oil soap - as soon our little munchkin will start to crawl and I want to be ready with a clean floor!
